timber supplies
Would some members who live in victoria please give me the location of where I could buy different types of timber and ply wood.
EG: kauri, jarah, teak, blackwood etc.

They are just over the Westgate Bridge (Bit of a drive from Colac, I know) Have tonnes of varieties of timber in different sizes, all sold by volume. Have lots of examples on the website and is an awesome place for a wander, just check at reception before you do. Give them a ring and ask about what they have and prices, incredibly helpful and polite, even to me as a newby. I doubt they would have ply.

Your best bet would be to contact a local saw miller, you would surly be able to get Blackwood from the Otways and a variety of grey, red, and yellow box.
Failing that a long drive to Melbourne would be your only option.
