Default What wood could this be?

someone has given me alot of small logs that they say are sheoak but they dont look like the normal sheoak that i have used. The bark isnt as rough and it dosnt come off as easily as normal sheoak, the bark is smoother with cracks in it and it dosnt come off very easily.
It had the same type of needle as sheoak and u can see the rays in the end grain.
I cut a slice of a piece and planed it and it didnt seem to have as many rays in it as sheoak.
It also dosnt have the same pattern under the bark as sheoak, there arnt as much small cracks in it.

Someone said it could be east coast sheoak but i could find anything like that on the internet?

Any ideas of what it could be?

There are heaps of sheoaks, I have seen about 5-6 around here alone, so it probably is what you say.
Someone on this BB probably has a book with all the different ones in it.
