White Cypress? Native Australian?>
If that is the case I wonder how it will hold up over time. All the native Cypress (Cyprus?) I have dealt with become quite brittle.

ill inform the cuemaker of that, as its only going to be used for splicing (strips on the side of the cue) its strength isnt really an issue for us.
by the feel of this bit here, which is quite dry, i can see what your saying.
