is it worth it??
What does everyone think of moreton bay ash , and has any one heard of chilloak?is this stuff worth milling up ihave about 3-4 cube of m bay ash and 2 cm3 of syd blue gum?

Moreton bay ash, also known as Carbeen-tends to split a bit when milled. Its usually a creamy brown in colour, fairly hard and finishs nicely. Sapwood rots fairly readily.

What was it you were wanting to do with the timber. Depending on how the logs are formed etc I'm happy to come to some arrangement re me milling and taking a proportion of the timber. I have a Lucas mill to cut it up with.
