Feathering jig for mitre slot
Hi
I've just made this jig that fits in the mitre right hand side mitre slot. Someone probably has already made one like this but I thought I'd share it anyhow.
It's made using two Rolltrak sliding door bearings from the big green shed part N# 4361 at abut $3.95 each. The rest is from scrap timber and old bolts and parts left over from triton assemblies. Note the bearings rest on the table as the carrier is only 12mm thick. The jig can be zero out so it can be used to set up quick cuts. In use it is very good at feathering the timber and I'm very pleased with it. It moves in the mitre trac easily and can be easily removed and refitted.
