    Default fence not square

    Hi all,

I was realigning my blade last weekend when I notice that even if the blade is square to the table it is not to the fence
so I was wondering if it was the fence or the table and I found out that it is the fence.
I was wondering if there is a way to correct that or if I need to contact Triton for a new one
That will be the 3rd one
The first fence was not square at all and the scales were not at the same distance from the fence
So they sent me another fence+scales.
The scales were ok but I never bothered checking the fence (I know I should have done it)

I tried loosening to tighting the screws but if I tight them, it is worse since the screws are pulling the fence backward.
    Loosening does not do anything

Thanks for your help or recommendations

It's all been discussed at length in a recent thread.
Check this out and enjoy the read

    Hi Gumby,

Thanks for that but it does not answer my question
My question is not related to the saw alignment but the fence being not squared
I just want to know if there are some settings on the WC2000 I am missing or if I just have to call Triton and request a new fence

But I think you'll find a new fence is the best answer.

    Hi Gummy,

    Thanks again
I am not going to bother fixing the fence with paper or other tricks
I have asked triton to replace it
    Let 's wait and see
