    Hi.I am looking at buying a complete workshop tools and bench

    I am looking at the Triton 2000 series workbench and attachments.

    can you recommned a good source to buy in Victoria.

    I went to Bunnings to collect a Rec Retail pricing and was told Triton was in receivership and that Bunnings was not ordering in Triton Gear.

    Is Trition the way to go?... What about spare parts if I need them in the future?

    Can you recommend me to a good supplier?

    Should I opt for second hand or new?

    What is the going price for each item?

    I am impressed with the Triton Saw (235) and Router

    Should I also look at a dust extraction unit do they work?

    Would love some feed back to avoid any mistakes. I am interested in Furniture and house renovations.

    search ebay for someone upgrading, that is your best option

    Been there done that, doing it. I want to find a unit in good condition. I have seen what look like good buys on eBay But they are interstate. One in Tasmania sold for 320 with all options./accessories

    What price is reasonable for each item. I guess I would be interested in the receivership sales as I would like to buy a Triton saw and Router

    I would also look on the Buy, sell 'n' swap section on this forum. I see a number of triton stuff come up.

    Thanks but where is the link.I just spent 15 minutes trying to find a site map with no success. I feel like I have been asked to go out an buy a left handed screw diver.

    For what you pay for the Triton and its accessories you can get a really good TSC-10HB steel topped saw. Much better value in the long run.

    Thanks but I need something that is transportable and can do a 4" (90mm) cross cut as well as rip and rout... If I had a fixed workshop then yes something like this would be useful.

    Unless you're doing a cut from both sides you won't get a 90mm cut from a triton. There is something wrong with mine, I get about 58mm but I know others get over 60mm.
    It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

    I've put a 10" blade into my 9 1/4" Hitachi saw and I can get a 75mm cut out of it. I know that Makita make a 10" circular saw but I think it's around $700. I was thinking about this and using a larger blade as I'd like to be able to rip 90mm.

    I manage to buy some pieces. Opted for a Triton 1400W Router with template kit. ( I saw its bigger brother on sale at Eltham (VIC) Bunnings for $315.

    Have won a few auctions on Ebay and am slowly building up what I want. I will have to place the superjaws on hold. Lower priority.

    Whats the differences in the two 2000 Workbenches models? How do you distingish the two?.. Can I use the WK3 as a dedicated router bench? thanks

    Bunnings sell a slightly different "model", it includes the wheel kit and height winder, other than that they are the same. That way they don;t have to beat their competitors by 10% as no one else sells it.

    The 2000 router table, as well as the old style will fit onto the Mk3 stand. Or you could use the Mk3 as a basis for a router table and build your own top

    Thanks guys.I am thinking of keeping the MK3 and setting it up as a stepper motor controlled router table. I need to design a lower table that can move on a rail and it possible a stepper adjusted height control for the plunger. I am surprised there is no third party stepper kits for the WKS. Still hunting for a 2000 model in Victoria. Looks like all the good Triton stuff is in NSW (I thought Triton was based at Tullamarine) Whats the going value of Triton these days. Maybe they should have offered a public float A online <style></style>Mutual Tool Company. You need to be a member to buy on line direct.
