Default New Member with a few Questions

Glad i found you guys, the forum has been a great help too me over the last few months, pity i didnt look for it sooner. Have been using Triton equipment for the last 5 years and i must say to a complete novice it has been a great help. A few questions if i may

    1. I have had the Video for some time, i can see from another thread the DVD is now available, i have the facility to transfer VHS to DVD at home which i was about to do was also planning on breaking up the scenes and putting them on a spare laptop which i can take into the workshop, before i waste any time is there any major differences on the DVD ie does it cover the new Router table etc?

    2. I have upgraded to the new Router Table but have the old biscuit Joiner ive been told i need an adaptor which is a 6 week delivery for some reason, Does anyone know what this thing looks like, where it goes, and could i make a temporary one.

    Many Thanks

    Tony

    Hi Tony

Just bought the dvd version of the training video myself.
Only cost £8 including VAT. When you've got used to dvds, vhs systems are rubbish. Instant jumping between chapters makes it a lot better experience.
Can't help with your second question.

    Chris.

    Hi Tony,
I have the video and the DVD. The video covers much more. The DVD does not
have anything about the router table, biscuit jointer, sliding extension or bevel ripping guide. The people at Triton said to me that a separate DVD would be made available as they did not want to put the older models of equipment on the DVD.
    Regards
    Les
