Sound reduction needed for Triton Power Saw
Hi all,
I've mentioned this before.
This issue has been raised by a number of the Triton Users from my Triton Users Group. It seems some of the users neighbors have addressed this issue and are quite annoyed about the noise. I know my lady is not impressed by being able to hear it from a block away. And it sure raddles my brain even with the ear muffs on.
Sandy Johnston mentioned a possible solution here: http://ubb.ubeaut.com.au/ubb/Forum8/HTML/000076.html
but I havn't been able to get more datail.
Also one of the other members from the users group mentioned 'White Noise'. His suggetion was that you could build the White Noise generator for little money and would help to cancel the screech from the Triton Saw.
I've priced noise reduction battons for the work shop which didn't seem to be all that expensive.
Another member has priced renting warehouse space close to home for about $8 per square meter. To keep all his wood working equipment in.
Has anyone else out there been able to reduce the noise? Could you please let us know how you did it?
Any more suggestions would be appreciated.
Any one out there with an engineers and/or designers back ground who want to take this up as a challenge can contact me any time.

OK, another potential solution.
White Noise
Which works on ears and not sound reduction.
It tricks your ears into thinking its loud and turn the internal volumn (of your brain) down.
AlTronics
1-300-797-007
Personal Noise (Generator?) Kit
m9271
$34.95
Have to run it through your stereo system
and have tgo be cardful not to blow your speakers when you keep turning it up because you can't hear anything.
