Hello to everyone
I have been looking at getting a triton workbench for awhile now, not knowing if I was going to buy secondhand or new. I went to the melb woodwork show and spoke to Stuart for about 1/2 hour about the WC and he showed me how to use it and what to buy(thx m8 )
After I spoke to him I thought I better hit ebay as what I wanted was going to cost to much new.
After searching on ebay for a few weeks I finally won one for $400
I think I got pretty good bargain I hope
The guy told me he had only used it a couple of times and when I went to pick it up I could tell
This is what I got
Triton series 2000 Workcentre
Triton 235mm Precision Power Saw with extra blade
Router Table
Biscuit Joiner
Workshop system video
Instruction manuals
I am thinking of getting the triton router mini slider and the router table legs so I don't have to swap and change all the time
I would be interested in what do you guys think of the price I paid and my plans for the upgrades
Just wanted to say hello and hopefully I can post up some of my projects I have in mind
Thx again stuart for all your advice

Sounds very good to me I recently paid a fair bit more for just the workcentre, but I am in the UK.
You have to pay a penance for that.
Happy sawdust making

No problem at all Click - sounds like you got an absolute bargain there - nice work!
I'd definitely get the router stand - unless you are absolutely struggling for space, it beats the hell out of swapping back and forth between the saw and the router.
As to the router mini slider - I'm guessing you are considering the mini sliding extension table. Very good bit of kit - fits the workcentre as well of course, but has that bonus of being able to be used on the router table. It won't be often that you will want to, but nice having that option. You'll use it continuously on the workcentre, and will probably find that you don't use the crosscut mode on the workcentre once you have it.
BTW, if your workcentre didn't come with the height winder, that is definitely worth getting.
FWIW, there are plenty of videos on here about the Triton stuff - worth checking out (if you haven't come across them on my blog already! )
Good meeting you at the show - enjoy your new workshop!"Clear, Ease Springs"
