I like you're puzzles funky, but they're hard!
Is it the square and the brass washer, the only two not used in the thread making process or having a thread put on them?

    Gezz, long shot I know

The digital Vernier and the lathe itself as the only two that require power?
    Best regards, Luban

Ok, maybe it's the drill bit, the only cutting tool that doesn't cut a thread.

    Regards

The lathe tooling cuts, but isn't used for threading

TIP: The odd ones are similar

Is it the adjustable square and the calipers because both tools incorporate a ruler ?

OK, there is a blue thing under the double handled thingie that is made of plastic-ie stuff, and there is something else that I can't see also made of plastic.
These are the odd ones because they aren't metal.
Please excuse the technical terms used in this response - I'm trying to impress everyone with my extensive knowledge of metalwork.

I think that plastic-ie thing lower right is a screwdriver

FC, is it the calipers and the micrometer because they can both measure diameters ?

The blue plastic thing contains tungsten carbide turning tips for the toolholder in the tool post. The calipers have some plastic on them as well as the screw driver handle which Thumbthumper picked out.

So, nope. But...You might get there with that line of thinking

I'd say the tap and the die have yet to cut the threads on your brass bits...
the calipers, micrometer, square and lathe have all done their thing on the brass.
    All the best
