Hand chisel
Hi all
Well I must have caught some desease from this BB, because I bought myself a second hand, hand chisel today, and its got no motor either.
Any one heard of "I Sorby"?
Stupid question probably.......................
Its got a punch of Punch on the back, of Punch and Judy fame.
Maybe its a judy of Judy, who knows.
I paid $20 for it, and its 1 3/4" wide.
Is it a gooder one?
Cheers, Ohhh no you wont....

Ozwinner
If that is an old Sorby (100 yrs or so) you have a winner (ahh, sorry about that). These are very collectable and useable old English manufacturer. Speaking from memory (never a good thing these days), I am sure that the insignia is typically a kangaroo. Good price!

Is that stamp on the chisel how they really spell "Sheffield"?

The term 'grammar nazi' was invented to make people, who don't know their grammar, feel OK about being uneducated.
