HI All,
Laminated planes are a lot older than Krenov.
A tradesman from around the turn of the century wrote a few books that are high quality. One of them shows this technique.
His name was Hayward, Charles H.
I think the name of the book was Making Woodworking tools, or similar
I'm flat out tonight, if someone wants to google it was available as an on-line download.
CHeers,
eddie

Doctor Who territory here. A tardis toolbox. Put a tool in it and it goes back to the day it was made. Some are definitely made for aliens too.
ps Charles Hayward was the editor of Woodworker for many years including the war (wwii). and wrote some great books.

It's supposed to be available for download from the Old Tool Shop website, but the link doesn't seem to work (I have brought this to the attention of the website).
Cheers
