Those with a LV twin-screw vise.....
G'mornin people
I agonised over ordering this with the Great Clamp Order of 'ought five. I have an opportunity to get one over sans shipping costs. D'you think it is worth retro fitting to my bench, or would it be OTT? I often wish that I had a tail vice as the wonderdog is a bit fiddly. Very nice bench, i have a mountain of clamps. And i truely don't think you can ever have to many. And that includes vices so if your not eating vegimite snadwiches to pay for it...go for it!.

You can never have too many clamps. Last week I was doing a bit of welding and found it easier and more comfortable to do it outside so I thought I'd use some bits of angle iron and a piece steel plate to cobble together a temporary welding table , all held together by clamps. Unfortunately I was two clamps short so I used a couple of pairs of multigrips. Anyway, you now know whats on the hardware shopping for next week.
Yeah I think you could retrofit the Twin Screw and it would be worth it.

If it is easy to retrofit go for it. If it is extremely difficult I would consider against.

OTT?
Nice bench TK BTW .
Surely its not impossible to fit, and a bid wide end vice is a beautiful thing especially when its a twin screw.
Is your bench made from Tas Oak and how much do you think it would weigh?I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
