Rare Stanley #441
What do you reckon?
Looks like a USA 1920-ish broken #4 with a post 1933 Lever cap and a late era blade. Heck of a tool to scrape wet glue off the bench.

Hmmmm..... I think I have a few planes here which I could fairly easily convert to a "#441" - whatever that is.

It's the very very rare Stanley Fastback 4, so fast it's left the front behind.

if you miss out on a 441 you could always buy one of these...

8 bids now, $37 and 3 hours to run. The seller refuses to answer the questions and has not changed the description or pulled the item from sale, even though by now he must know the item is falsely identified. eBay will not allow any complaints unless you have actually bought the thing, only then can you claim it as fraud.
Is there any way to stop this?

$103 , some people are gullible.
I knew i should've kept that piece of carp #4 from India, could've made a handsome profit.

I sent the buyer an email. I wonder if he replies and whether he will pay?
I wonder how many "faults" you can pick up in this auction? Here's one - the lever cap has the incorrect keyhole and has Stanley written on it, when the date states 1910 (it should be a blank face).
