Hi Helmut,
I'd like some of the wider sections from the skeletons between the blade cutouts. Basically the top 100mm or so of the front skeleton sheet in the pic, keeping the larger section in the top left corner intact. I'd like some of the narrow sections between blade cutouts too; they look about 3.5mm square in the pic.
Any chance of getting it heat treated too?
Thanks,
Brett.

2 3/8 blade
Helmut please put me down for another 2 3/8 blade and chipbreaker set
I just saw that I still owe $27 - buggered if I know how I got the sums wrong - but you will understand why I measure more than twice and cut once
Money on its way

2 5/8 Record 08
Thanks, Helmut. You are very generous with your time. The $ is following in a minute.
If any of you are buying a 2 5/8 blade & cap iron for your Record 08, I can think of a couple of good homes oversees for your old Record set. I'll post in Marketplace.
I did not realize we could get extra bits for marking knives. It's about time I made a proper pair.

Sorry to be annoying, ive been searching for the payment account details and know i have seen them somewhere but can't find them. Might be worth posting again to help others as well. Also TS were you after postage details yet or is that to be organised later?
Cheers

Hello Helmut,
I have just noticed that the 2-5/8" blades are a non starter.
I wanted one of these and one 2-3/8" The 2-3/8 was just there to pad out the order. Since there are no number 8 sized blades being made I'll offer my one copy of a 2-3/8" blade for someone else.
Thanks anyway.
Cheers

SG
I checked my records and you were down for one blade at 2 3/8" and one at 2 5/8". No cap irons.
So we do not need to change anything.
We still have following blades with matching cap irons for whom good homes need to be found for:
- 2 @ 2" Wide Blade suitable for No. 4 & 5 Bench Plane
- 3 @ Spokeshave blades
- 5 @ 2 3/8" Wide Blade suitable for No. 4 1/2 & 6, 7 Bench Plane
We also have extra cap irons with screw:
- 1 extra @ 1 3/4" Cap Iron
- 2 extra @ 2” Cap Iron
- 1 extra @ 2 1/4” Cap Iron
- 2 extra @ 2 3/8” Cap Iron
- 2 extra @ 2 5/8” Cap Iron
- 1 extra@ 2 3/8” Rebate Cap Iron
