    Default Used tool prices

Probably a contentious issue, but here goes.
I have Kity 627 spindle moulder that belonged to my departed Father-in-law and a Stanley 60MB (85-060A) mitre saw/box that I have owned since new.
They are both in good nick and I want to sell them here on the forum.
I have google searched until my fingers have bled, but can't find out any info on them or a way to price them correctly/fairly.
Can anyone help me out with either a way to price them or suggesting what I should put on them.

I realise that may be a bit subjective, but any help/suggestions appreciated.

    A bit hard to say.
The mitre saw and mitre box look to be in good condition so I would estimate somewhere around the $60-$100 would be a fair asking price.
I don't know how well they are chased on Ebay, but here is one just like yours that you can keep an eye on. It should sell in the next week or so:
Stanley Mitre Saw - eBay Saws, Power Tools, Tools, Home. (end time 19-Jun-10 12:58:48 AEST)

As for the spindle moulder I have no idea.
    Good luck with these

Thanks SG, certainly looks very much like mine.
I'll keep an eye on it.

    Hi Lyle,
Wouldn't hold out to much on the eBay solution as I have bought 2 from eBay and only paid a max of $10.00. Bought another much older one at an auction for $70.00.
If you don't need the space or money keep it they really are a handy saw for diy or many woodworking projects projects e.g. Picture frames boxes etc. Quiet too. I use them in our woodworking school on the Gold Coast and at woodworking demostrations, (Still got all me fingers also)

As for the spindle moulder I may know someone who could be interested is it single phase? So if you would let me know when you have decided on a price i'll pass it on.

    Cheers

As for the Stanley 60MB (85-060A) mitre saw/box that you have owned since new -
Well the Ebay example sold for just over $36 which was an absolute bargain for the buyer. If you were selling it I would list it on this forum where its real value would be more appreciated.
Steve is right, if you have the room for it, it is worth much more to keep, rather than to sell. I have one which I use, and which my grandchildren can use without any danger to themselves, and they are proud of their cutting ability with it.
