    Default Woodworking in America

    If, like me, you wanted to go to the Woodworking in America Hand Tools conference, which is on this weekend in Valley Forge PA, you can get some idea of what you are missing by listening to Shannon Rogers' AudioBoos - they are posted on his blog. Shannon is also putting some video on YouTube.

    Maybe next time I'll get there in person!!!

    Have you seen the You Tube video showing the sawbucks that Ron Herman brought along with him? That man has some collection of handsaws. I also liked his line that he can keep up with a table saw ripping boards for the first 20 minutes!!!

    If like me you have any sort of facination with Hand Tools and their use in woodworking I would highly recommend a trip over there for the next one.

    I was lucky enough to be there in Berea KY late last year for the first one. An absolute holy grail of tools and their makers with so much knowledge to be soaked up.
