Workbenches
I was at a Woodcraft store today and looking at the SJÖBERGS workbenches that were on sale. For the price, even on sale, the benches seemed flimsy. The legs were 1 inch stock and the vises were small. For the cost of one of these benches I could make mine own that would be a lot nicer. In fact I already have. I wonder why anyone would buy a bench like this. As a woodworker, and a darksider, building mine own bench was the only option for me. I was able to customize my bench to my work habits and methods. Its like a jedi building their own lightsaber to demostrate their skills(or a sith lord).

I won’t buy it. Not with the wobbly base and the useless vice anyway. The only bit that is worth buying for a workbench is the laminated top from Lee Valley.

They would probably sell a lot to the 'hey, I've just retired, have lots of money and need a hobby' brigade.
