    Question hafco pt-6 jointer query

    Hi all,
I have just purchased a pt-6 jointer from hare and
Forbes and while unpacking I noticed a few small holes on the edge of the outfeed table. Being my first jointer I'm not sure if this will affect its use in any way? Thank you

Looks like poor casting or a welded repair. Wonder what it would look like on the inside? Personally, i wouldn't be happy with it.

Hi Tom8, I don't think it will affect it's use or performance.

    Hi Tom,
I wouldn't be too concerned with it.
We have to live with these sorts of problems when buying machinery in this kind of price range.

Thanks Mark i know it's just a basic jointer,
and i don't mind as long as it doesn't get worse?
Also I realise it's on the infeed table.
I guess I'm just being pedantic. Cheers.
