Dear Matty,
Excellent stuff! I've been wondering exactly the same thing as Quickstep for quite some time now - ie. Is an "Inverter" better than a traditional "Arc" for thin guage welding? It's well and truly worth starting a separate thread, because I'm sure it hasn't been specifically asked before (so Quickstep - if you're listening...)
Best Wishes,
Batpig.

I would have thought 80-90amps was a bit high for 2mm rods. Thats about as hot as you would go with 2.5's. Wat's the amp range on the pack say?

The inverter welder teams up with the Gemini rods very well
I have gone down to 30 amps with the Gemini 1.6mm rods.
A 45 degree angle incline was used.
theres a graphic naturally
