You're the only person I know in the area who is on this forum. I'm on the river at Kew.

Graeme, observing also on the front of page one and introduction it states "73 years experience in supplying requirements for all trades."
    1860 plus 73 is 1933.
    Gentlemen, I stand corrected...

    Default My Catalogue.

    Hi To All,
Although Mine is not Mc's, mine is a 1913 C. Nurse & Co.
It is No.16, called The "Invicta " Illustrated Price List of Mechanics' Tools & Machinery.
It has 404 Pages with pictures & prices of everything, Tools & Machinery.

I bought a Hegner Scroll Saw from this man, & he lent me this Catalogue to look & have a read of.
So when I finished, I took it back to him, & he blew me away with " You may as well look after this, as it is now Yours ".
I took it to a local Book Binder, & he did a beautiful bit of work on it.
Took a smiggon off the Page Edges, & fixed the Cover as well & it is now in Excellent Condition, & all for $ 25.

It is truly great to every now & then to take it down & have a look & remember Pat, a very generous man.

I believe I am a very Fortunate Person.
    Regards,
    issatree.

Yep. The phraseology is hilarious but standard for the times I guess.

Thanks anglesmith, always wondered why there were a couple of different looking McPhersons cats for the same year and have seen a couple different at least for the 1937 edition.

I do note however regarding the 1960 Centenary catalogue had gold lettering on the cover, other "Centenary" cats had red lettering on the front cover and were dated slightly later that that - ie 1962 etc.
