Wolf tools identification.
Hello everyone,
It's been a while since I posted, so bear with me, mistakes and all!
I'm simply wondering if there are any serious collectors out there with a generic catalogue (decade by decade say) or model dating list of vintage Wolf electrical drills saws etc. mainly the NW drill range (small and large) but an entire generic Wolf electric tool listing would be great.
I've collected them for many many years, but there seems to be so very little on-line cataloguing Wolf's product history, it's so frustrating, as their old stuff is so loved and highly regarded even now all over the world!

I think it's actually pretty difficult. Wolf weren't the best for handing-out catalogues or prices lists of the trade stuff (the word "parsimonious" comes to mind - go looking for Cubs, etc and there's loads more bumf out there), and their (later) model numbering system is all over the place, meaning for example that four different models of Sapphire drill introduced at the same time might well have what appear to be randomly-selected product numbers. Similarly the serial numbers on Sapphire and later tools appear, in fact, to be batch numbers. Nearest I've ever gotten is to being able to approximately date some products using livery/company name which gives me date ranges mainly

You could try sending a "pm" to Gerhard - see post #10 in the following thread... Cheers, crowie

The OP posted that 2 years ago and hasn't been active since.
Those were the droids I was looking for.
