GIS Rudder and Rigging fittings UK
I`m going to the UK in a couple of weeks and thought I could get my rudder and rigging fittings there. Cheaper and easier than here. Googling away I cant find the Ronstan ones Mik recommends in the plans. Any UK GIS builder out there who can recommend either a good stockist or alternatives - probably Holt I imagine?
Thanks in advance
Steve
P.S my build is a bit bogged down - too many weddings, shopping trips with the wife, etc but I hope to get a solid week or two in during the summer hols next month. Found some really lovely Brazilian cedar plywood with very few voids and planes down to the marks a treat. Not too expensive (AB rather than AA facings but I can live with that) which is just as well given my first attempt at a bulkhead. Mucked up the measurements - if I had installed it would have produced a GIS with tumblehome - very 18th century. Second attempt much better.

Anything with a 7mm pin will be fine. Main thing is for the rudder side of the fittings to be the right width for the rudderbox - or not too far away.
6mm would be OK if nothing else is available particularly if it is a continuous pin.
