Default Alan and his mother in law

Alan was feeling at ease with the world and in a happy mood when his mother in law came to visit him and his wife. He felt sorry for his mother in law after watching her for a few days seeing how lonely she was. So Alan thought he would make her feel as if she had someone in this world who thought something of her.
He said " Mother in law, I just want you to know that my house is your house.
His mother in law thought for a moment and then replied " Get the heck off my property"
    Reality is no background music.
    Cheers John

Yes, I remember when she came to visit.

I answered the doorbell at the front door and there
she was .. standing there with her dressing gown,
pyjamas and slippers in her hand.

She said, "I want to stay here for a few days".

I said, "Fine". So I closed the door and left her
to stay right where she stood.
