Thumbs down Buying from Saka Cnc in China

    Hi All
A warning for those considering buying from a Chinese seller named SAKA-CNC in Shanghai ... DONT
I have paid for a small router from them and now they will not answer my emails or phone calls. Unfortunately They appear to be a scam.
PM me if you want to know more

    Hi Bob,
    Not good at all.
I have viewed their web page and they have gone to a lot of trouble if they are a scam.
Here is a contact list off their site.
Company Name: Shanghai Saka CNC Equipment Co., Ltd.
Company Address: No. 3, East Kangding Road, Shanghai, China
    Tel. Number:0086-21-56807240
    Fax Number:0086-21-56807240
    E-mail: [email protected]
    Website:www.saka-cnc.com

If you can't contact them then contact the Chinese Consulate in Australia as they should be very interested in trading difficulties. Here is a link of contact numbers for them.

I hope it turns out OK for you.
    Cheers,
    Rod

With the apparent slowing of the Chinese economy, I would think any legit business in China would be keen to keep current customers happy. Hope it works out for you.

    Thanks for your interest guys.
They seem to have my email on a rejection list as they bounce back to me.
I have been on to a fellow in Norway who acted as a referee and he is at a loss to explain their actions. He belives that they are still in operation.
Another friend in China has contacted them by phone and they are denying any knowledge of me or my money??? I have sent him the banking details and he is taking it further.
I'll have to wait and see what happens

    Hey all,

It did turn up... Handy little machine, little bit rough with a few things to be improved, but rather happy with its performance...

The website still doesnt seem to back up, however we did get an email from the owner today asking how the machine was doing...
