Vectric Aspire http://www.vectric.com/WebSite/Vectr...ire_index.html
It is the most user friendly program out there.
Or if you are on a budget, Vectric has a low cost 2D progam http://www.vectric.com/WebSite/Vectr.../c2d_index.htm

When I got into this three years ago and pre Vectric software I used Turbo Cad or Coral Draw and then Lazycam to covert to Gcode.
Last couple of years I have only used Vectric software with VcarvePro and now Aspire. It is a simple point and click drawing tool with excellent cam features.
If you are in to Autocad then there is an add in that converts drawings to Gcode. If you are in to Linux then there are specalised software available for that. I don't know of any Apple software.Cheers,
Rod
