Cheap Extrusion
Hello Group
I have some surplus 100mm by 50mm by 6mm extruded channel ( Ally ) at the moment it is bolted together in a rectangle 1500mm by 900mm, it is surplus to my requirements and don't / can't see a use for it.
I am offering it to the group for scrap value of $1.00 per Kg the downide is it is in the Central West of NSW and the deal is you either pick it up or you pay the freight, no, I won;t cut it into 237.5mm lengths, it is as is, where is, ( I will break it down into 2 / 1500mm and 2 900mm lengths )
I am selling it for scrap value as when I have given stuff away in the past it is off putting to later find out it was sold, I'mm guessing there is between 15 - 20 Kgs.
I'll post a photo later.

Hello John
I'm guessing that you are somewhere in Canberra, I'll ask a local freight company how much to there today.

I'll take it all provided your not too far of a drive.

Might even have a use for the 1500mm lengths in my current build.
Can you post your location.

Hello John and not blueray but who are you??? Ch4is ???
I am in the Central West of NSW, So that is between Lithgow and Wellington, I may be closer to Lithgow though.
Ch4is You can have them if you want, I travel to Sydney on business once a month, I'll be there on Monday the 19th of Jan' 2009, anywhere in a arc from Parramatta to Richmond would be fine with me.
John, I checked today, it will cost $15.00 to get them to Orange, a freight Co. there can get them to the ACT but I haven't a price yet, I'm guessing it will be more than the stuff is worth new.
Maybe I should just sell it for scrap.
Ed
BTW, what ever happened to the Corian offer, did anyone ever get any or was there not enough to go around???
