I thought you could change an existing key i.e. the installation details?
The software phones home when you use it so can they should be able to ignore calls using old keys.
I'd better check on this as according to my account details, I've installed on three computers, two if which are no longer in existence (virtual machines)Geoff

Does anyone know if there are any books available on Alibre? I just got it as part of a Tormach Mill package from the US, yet to have a go at it though, the mill gets here early December.

A while ago I was trialling Win7 to see if I wanted to abandon XP.
At this time I sought help from Alibre about install on Win7 and used up my last install key. Alibre was adamant that I could not run Ver 11 on Win7 and would offer no further help.
With the help of a forum I found that a simple registry entry was all that was needed to install on Win7. Which I did and program was fine.
Subsequent to that I bought a legal Win7 and set up on a new hard drive. (fried the old one) but now I have no install key.
Didn't bother asking for a new install key as the response would have been the same. "Won't work on Win7 so we won't give you one".
So on impulse I decided to buy the latest version. (Sucker)

Amos at Alibre Australia contacted me and suggested that instead of buying a new instance of Alibre 13, I should buy one years
maintenance, which gives me free upgrade from Ver11. and some other benefits.
Same price as I have paid for the new license and he will change my order.
Let you know how it goes.
