Ray I honestly don't know what to say.
That's a wonderful Christmas Gift my friend.
Thankyou so much.
I've enjoyed every minute of my time building the Indian and posting on the forum.
There's always been great support for my work, for which I'm truly grateful.
I've got to know a lot of fantastic people.
The Indian should be very close to if not finished in time for Dave's Australia Day get together.
Which I'm really looking forward to.
It will be great to be able have people see the end result of what has been quite a journey!
Thanks again so much that really was a wonderful surprise.
Mind you if I ever tried something like that, the best I could do would be to start with "There Was An Lady".
I hope you have a marvels Christmas with family and friends.
You've certainly made mine.
Cheers mate
Trevor.

Well I got the Indian out this morning for some photo's.
Sorry the background isn't better, it would have looked much nicer in a park.
I'll go and see my dear old Dad around lunchtime.
But apart from that I'll work on the Indian.
It really is the thing I enjoy most!.
I hope everyone has a "WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS".
Be safe, be happy!
Cheers

First outing for the Indian
Wow!, that looks fantastic. Anyone walking past as you took the photos would have thought Santa Claus had been very generous to you.
This thread is one of the 'cores' of this whole forum, and is a pleasure to visit each day to check your progress.
When it eventually goes on display (In a glass case!), may I suggest you make a display board of several duplicate bits showing the various stages of construction, without any paint etc., especially those components that used unusual materials such as credit cards, biro parts etc., and maybe a selection of the raw components used in the construction.
At the official opening of the display, it could be nice to have the unveiling conducted by the manager of the recycling centre (tip shop) in the presence of the local paper or TV station.
I am still interested to hear what it sounds like when you fire it up for the first time!
Have a great Christmas Trev, and say G'day to your Dad from all of your fans on this forum.
Merry Christmas,
Alan...

Its Christmas Eve here in FL USA and a better gift I could not have gotten than to see this beauty sitting all by itself without the engine stand, or bike rack holding it up.
Thanks for a very enjoyable year Trevor. You didn't know this, but following along with this build but here and at the WWT forum where we first met went a long way toward getting me back in the shop after the stroke. I'll wager you didn't know that I was fighting to stay on my feet during the entire Raider's Coach build and that it was partly due to your ever present determination at building the Indian that got me motivated day after day.He who blesses his neighbor in a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted as cursing!

Trev, I'm only one of the 100s of forum members that would like to thank you for the Xmas present you have given us.
Seeing the photos of the Indian in your driveway is enough for all of us.
A very Merry Xmas and a happy new year, I'm looking forward to the next bike. cheers John.

No Johnnie I didn't know that.
But I do know an upfront, down to earth, fairdinkum bloke when I'm talking to one.
You've always been there supporting my work.
Hell you've even kicked me in the backside when I wasn't doing my best.
If I've been able to help you in any way I'm very glad!.
I hope you and your family have a great Christmas.
You never know New Years Eve we maybe able to do the "TIMEWARP AGAIN"
Cheers Mate.

Everyone's already said it all. What they said.
I've really enjoyed my daily 'fix' of Indian during your build, and what a result!
Must be a bit of a downer coming to the end, if you know what I mean. I always feel a slight sense of loss when I reach the end of a longer project.
Hope you're having a top Xmas.
Looking forward to the Brough.... Steve

Thanks Steve,
I'll admit I'm pretty damn happy with it myself.
Still a lot of little fiddley things to do, but over all they wont make any big differences to how the Indian looks now.
I finished off the pump and it's carries this afternoon, I'll get it mounted tomorrow after the paint dries.
As I said it will be very close to finished by Australia Day.
But either way I'll be calling it on the thread at that point.
I know just what you mean about a sense of loss.
It will seem very odd the morning I wake up and realise I wont be working on the Indian.
But the Brough is waiting and I'm sure I'll loose myself in that in the first 10 seconds!.
I hope your having a great day, enjoy yourself mate.
Cheers

It is looking awesome as we all know . We are staying with friends of my wife over Christmas and her g/f husband is a motor bike enthusiast. He could not believe it is wood.
Loved the poem Ray, all you other guys add to the flavour and substance of this thread to make it a succulent feast. Thanks to all, won't name you all cause I'd hate to miss some one out.

Hey Cowboy I hope you and the family had a wonderful Christmas.
I know just what you mean about the forum members that have added so much to this thread.
If it wasn't for their support and interest in the thread it would have faded long ago!.
I've got a month to button the Indian up before your Australia Day get together.
I'm really looking forward to getting the bike there for folks to see.
Thanks Joe I'm really happy you like the way the Indian's turning out.
I can honestly say if it wasn't for you the "Wheels May Have Fallen Of The Hole Thing".
Hope you had a great Christmas Day and enjoy the rest of the season.
Thanks Guy's Cheers

Trevor,
What a beautiful sight to behold. What a fantastic job you have done and shared your immense skills with all of us on the Forum. Thanks so much for the inspiration you have given to all of us. Personally you have shown there is no rush to get things done and give lots of confidence to a lot of people. I only hope down the track I can reach 1/4 of the skills you have. Thanks for sharing the ride with us all - couldn't resist the pun. Hope you had a great Christmas Day. Really look forward to the Brough.
All the best
Keith

Thanks for that Keith.
First and most important thing Never resist a pun!.
The great thing at the moment with the Indian is that I get to do the part I like most "chase detail".
Little things that aren't really noticed, but they all add up to the end result.
I'm still working on getting a wiring diagram for the right period bike.
At the minute the closest I've got is one for a 1940's model, which has a few different things on it.
As for skill levels, mate I'm not that good.
But what I am is very persistent!.
I hope you and yours had a great Christmas Day.
Cheers mate
Trev.
