G'Day Michael, I personally can't assist but suggest you do a search in toymaking and model making for Toys & Joys to see what folk have found in there build of the project plans..
On another note; I see this is you first post since joining so "Welcome to a top forum".
The toymakers are a beaut mob all very willing to assistance, support and encourage plus share there "know-how".
Please make sure you post your photos and build notes as you start you projects.
Enjoy the toymaking and the forum, Cheers, crowie

i have a few of their blueprints and find them quite easy to follow and where necessary adapt .... the later ones do seem to have the odd mistake in them but generally speaking they are fine ...
they are not a plan in the sense of having things like: "step one ... do this" etc but they are clearer and simpler to follow than the gatto plans, of which i also have a couple (and which i also like)
i often adjust some of the dimensions anyway to make them a little more robust ... eg a lot of their thicknesses for panels is 1/4inch which i tend to do at 3/8
( i compare toys and joys to gatto because they both let you produce which quality models ... if you are looking for simpler stuff with easier to follow plans and a robustness to be played with by three year olds, there are a number of toy plans out there too)
best of luck
regards david

I have a lot of their plans.
Yes there are a couple of mistakes but they are good plans.
One thing i like is they are mostly drawn full size.

The T&J excavator was my first plan from them and I really enjoyed the build.
These are plans that must be studied because of the complexity of the build but they have the drawings in full size so just copy the parts and your all set.
I've build 5 others and enjoyed everyone.
I've read that some have Emailed them and got no response but if you call, they are there to help from what I understand.

it is supposed to be january each year but april or may is more likely ... they just don't seem to be able to get their IT stuff together
made me laugh but i received an email from them that started "the recipient will be able to read this so put something snappy here that will attract their attention and make them read further" ... i read further anyway
