    Default hello

Been looking for a friendly place to get advise and learn a thing or two looks like this forums will fit the bill.

I am a metal worker primarily but find that on occasion I have to dive into the world of wood. That ware the trouble starts. I can build a machine out of metal and have it be perfect. Every time I try using wood every thing messes up. Believe me I have a ton to learn so I hope there are people here who dont mind answering newb questions.

    Welcome,
    Just recently joined myself.
This really is a freindly forum and I find, to my great pleasure, that the folk are concise and helpful.

A little of every thing. The more artistic the better I like it.

I think he refer to confusion of the angle of blades in woodwork , because it often me off ( pardon my French ) , when machining againct grain direction ( by accident ) , spindle speed , thickness adjustment on planner blades , kind of jointing , and any "odd" stuff for metalworking guys. m emyself started as metalworkers , then try woodworking 9 years ago , and see many strange stuff , like why I cannot use my deep drill bits that easily get through mild steel , but get stuck and broken in a bengkirai timber..... etc ,...etc...Hey , Welcome , Mate. I'm from Indonesia..
