Default Aust Red Cedar bookshelves continued

Ok this one has been running in the background for a while. It started with the alterations to the Aust Red Cedar antique wardrobe which led to the new Aust Red Cedar built in desk and now the final pieces to the job. Two bookshelves, one either side of the window. They will sit on the new desk and have a few touches to blend them in with the wardrobe and some other old pieces in the house.
So today was collect up the Cedar from my storage shed and turn it into dressed timber ready to start. Just waiting on a couple of final measurements from the client.
Threw in a shot of the old robe, had to open all three front panels and a shot of the desk but I forgot to get a shot when I installed it.

Hi Guys, yes Eli some sapwood. There are a few little friends hitching a ride but not too bad. Any live ones get a suringe full of acetone down there burrow.

Yes often kids playing in the park at the back, they get a smiley stamp on the way past. I also have a miniture fan club.

And enough with the cold soup, only hot Anzacs alowed here.

    Hi Claw,

Looking good. Much easier to work and handle compared to the Aust. Mahogany I bet.

From my 'priority seating', (comes free with the season ticket) I see you have one generous size try square there. Is the largest I have seen. What size is it and what make, if still visible?

Sitting back with an appropriate beverage, (or two) enjoying the performance. Keep the chips flying.

    Cheers
    Pops
