It's already been subjected to mild abuse, it's just not too obvious in these images. Mrs. Wood has also christened it with a few choice marks.

Woodwould, could you give us some more detailed shots showing how the table works from underneath etc. ? It gives me a better clue of how it all came together and was assembled.

Very nice WW, Impressive as always. Nice to see that not everything has to be a major exercise. I think I need to take a course in quick finishing.

There's not much to the table; just a rail with a leg at each end, and two gates (with cut-outs for the top hinges) that are hinged to the same rail/legs. To open the table up, you lift the leaf and swing the gate legs out to support it. If I remember at the weekend, I'll ask Herself to upend the table and I'll take a picture or two of it for you.

Here you go. I think the images are fairly self-explanatory.

I would have thought that all you have to do is set it up at the working with wood show with a sign saying "I believe in bevel down planes" (or vice versa) and the campaign will come to you.

Very nice WW. Going back to your post numbered 21, you say you 'stuck a moulding around the (edge?). Clearly the grain indicates that you shaped the edge to create the moulding (and I know you are not silly enough to glue a moulding across the end grain ) so my question is about that word 'stuck'. Is it a current or archaic meaning for the word? Just like to know so then I can use it in woody circles and sound terribly knowledgable

    Cheers
    Michael
