    NG Rosewood top & NG Walnut frame, gate leg table for my parents. First attempt at furniture in the shed. Hope to finish construction before the big race on Sunday.

    Hi Fishflog,

    That's a nice looking piece of work. Looks like a good size shed too.

    Is that your first attempt at furniture, or your fist go "in the shed" ?

    Looking good, well done. Would be better if your pics were larger though. I remember making a gate leg table several years ago. Interesting project it was too.

    3TS first attempt in the shed & first attempt at a GL table, I am an apprentice cabinet maker (3rd year) so not my first furniture. A good project to nut out on my own without the boss or tradesman beside me to solve my issues along the way.

    John tried to post larger pics but they were either too big or too many so opted for the small ones I will do some more research prior to posting the finished item.

    I assume you have a shop bought armchair = reclining of course = with built in Esky for viewnig the race.

    Art I do indeed, I upgraded the esky to a waeco though. The girls have been warned my butt will be fuzed to the chair for the day & the remote will be clutched tightly in my mitt, their only respite will be to go shopping.

    The construction is finished it just needs a bit of putty & then off to work for the Guru to polish it.

    Finished & delivered just in time for christmas. A great learning experience.
