    Default Looking for help with big table in Brisbane

    Hi,

    I am new to the forums - hopefully this is the right place to post this.

    I am after advice on where to to source or get built a large dining room table in Brisbane. I have been scouring the web and ebay to no avail.

    We are looking for a 3.2 to 4m solid timber table for our home. We are not bent up on any particular timber but we would prefer a darker timber (as opposed to a pine table). We are happy for a new or used/reconditioned older table and would consider commissioning a build but need a recommendation on who/how we would do this.

    Hi Graham and welcome. Two places come immediately to mind. Fine Design Consultants Milton and for something a bit more rustic Big Red Shed at Darra. If nothing takes your fancy I'd be happy to talk to you about making one.

    Don't forget that it is coming up at the end of May.

    If you want to do it yourself, there are usually some good slabs to be had.
