A monastery table and a "saintly" man? What more to support a great slab table!!

Hellow Brethren, I will cast a saintly eye over it before passing judgment but I don't think it will need it really. The span will only be about 2.4 m with 400 over hang each end of the legs. I do have a 50mm off cut there I thought about slipping under it. Glued to one of the slabs to be a composit might be enough anyway.

Morning brother Hammer I see there has been no Monk-eyeing around with this one.

Just watch the way Mal drops those slabs might even be better if he slides them straight on top of the legs for you then have him return to deliver it all using the Hiyab.

Hmmm....no pics of the slabs. I hope Claw isn't pinned under a slab, unable to reach the phone or the Anzacs.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

Due to the amount of Anzacs the slab bounced off he is now trying to retrieve the slabs off the roof

Could be my finger prints. Ray, you obviously haven't had Mal deliver large slabs of timber to your workshop. There is NO Hiab on his truck, just a pair of wobbly old codgers with bad backs and knees (that are a touch worse tonight). Close to 4m long slabs 500 to 700 wide, not light.
So once he strapped down his load and headed off down the road I trimmed up the two slabs and took the extra timber delivered for my next job or two up to my storage shed.
I mixed up a heavenly batch of Danish oil and tinted it up with some wallnut and black stain. I'm pretty happy with the colour (looks like old monastery furniture) I just have to see what my client thinks.

I have seen Mal's truck but thought that with the orders he has gotten off you he may have forked out a bit on new tools himself

    Images of you and Mal

Bags big off cuts CH looks like nice grain and colour.

As many as you want, I chop up heaps for firewood. It's a shame but no one wanted pen blanks and I don't have room to keep them all so a zip through the saw and they're firewood.

There is a real likeness to us in those photos

Mark the ends look rather tatty and checked besides they would stick out a fair bit. Make nice platters
