No nonsense outdoor table and benches
Just finished these outdoor table and benches. Nothing fancy just some humble Oregon and modwood. No glue was used, just nuts and bolts and some outdoor paint. The 3 pieces took me 7 days to make. Had to get them out of the way quickly coz I have more important things to do.

Tidy
The umbrella is a nice touch.
Neat, did you oil them to finish?

It looks just right on that deck Scott.
Your title reminded me of a table my brother made a couple of years ago for an outdoor Christmas party.
About twice as long as yours - all 1" treated pine boards and about a thousand tech screws...scary.
Where did you get the Oregon?
I'd have a couple of projects that would be good with Oregon.Scally

Greg, Modwood is not real timber, so there is no need to oil it.
Rob, see this thread for the Oregon.

In fact I did use my Domino in this project. It was a quick project but everything was done properly. The legs and rails are bolted together, not screwed together. So it is super strong.

OK... don't know anything but timber
Once all the oil is all used up, we will be only able to use timber, so modwood willb e no more or rare indeed, so you may have a hierloom table Scott.
