Default A trio of Blackwood bookshelves

Latest commission was a trio of Tasie Blackwood bookshelves. Just small and low to go in under the enclosed verandah windows the shutters are Western Red and along with the art deco furniture the book nook looked pretty good. The client now wants an entertainment unit.

    Nice shelves CH

shame there's not one woodwork book in them or one finished turning displayed.

That whoopy cushion on the coffee table is that for when you get out of that recliner chair or is it your morning tea an oversized glazed doughnut

Hi Wheelin, if they were my bookshelves they would would be full of both turned objet d'art and woodwork books( I have incredible tast) . I ordered one of Rafin's books today to add to my collection. Mind you, I could see myself kicked back in that red number sipping on a cappuccino or bourbon and coke, book in hand.

Hi Artme, so far I haven't had any problems with Blackwood and I'd rather it stayed that way, it's one of my favorites. It always looks good with a coat of anything on it. Thanks Tex
