thats one of those training lathes i think a dealer in Melbourne had one not to long ago someone on HMEM in the USA has one to he posted pic's and Vids it also had a proper tool turret very nice
is this one yours Grahame?happy turning

I was surfing and came across the pic looking for something else.
I saved it,but forgot to save the detail of where it came from.
I thought it pertinent after reading the thread about not making lathes in Oz any more.
I think Hercus still make a high end CNC machine or at least they did a year or two back.

Hercus made the compulathe and compumill...They used ANCA controls..

wow Newmac have a Schaublin 102NVM dont see many of them in this part of the world i wonder what price they want for it.... it would be a great hobby machine damn only in Melbourne
that was the same machine i was talking about before in the link Michael posted Macona posted pics on HMEM before thats where i saw it first it sure looks like a fun machinehappy turning

the price probably wont be to bad for a second hand machine refitting it would be the costly part if it needs it
