Woodscratcher
I am having trouble with the tension control on my Excalibur 21. The white nylon tension lever appears to be worn & will not stay in the forward position & just releases the tension.
I have been using a Cable tie to keep the lever in position forcibly but this has stopped working for me with the cosequence that the blade pulls out of the bottom clamp.
I am currently using the front Tension control knob to provide the tension & this works well. I am frustated with this method as it obviously not the correct way of using the machine.
Has anybody else had a similar problem?

I've talked to one of our friends who owns an Excalibur..... he says it sounds like you may have an older model? Is it purple?
Anyway.... he gave me this web site... it has manuals on it and something about the quick clamps.

Thanks Keju. My machine is Green & is only 5 months old so I assured it is the current model. Thank you for the link to Seyco. I'll try that

That's strange.... my friend's saw is the green model too.... bought it about 12 months ago.
Can you maybe make a photo of the part that's causing the problem so he can have a closer look?
