I am renovating the bathroom of our 40 year old house and just came up against this problem. The wall height is 2470mm measured from the top of the villaboard floor to the underside of the gyprock ceiling, and of course the villaboard sheets are only 1200x2400. The only thing I can think of doing is to drop the ceiling height by 50-70mm so that the sheets will fit.
Is their another solution that builders normally follow?.

NB: there are already 40mm battens under the roof trusses.
