Best material for bathroom built-ins
Hi all, I'm looking at putting built-ins into my bathroom for linen storage, bathroom chemicals etc etc. It's a tiled floor. Closest "wet" object near it is the bath. The built-in will also contain the washing machine at floor level.
The previous laundry basin in the bathroom has been ripped out - it was melamine with MDF shell around it. The MDF was in reasonable condition but obviously the melamine wasn't - it was mostly rotten.
What's a good material to use for bathroom built-ins? Should I have an aluminium/stainless base with MDF shell for the cabinets sitting on it? Any suggestions?
