Default Brass Router Bushing Set - keeping it in tight

    got a set of these:

and wonder how to keep it on tight.
i was using the 11mm bush attached to a universal router base and found the d@mn thing kept unscrewing itself from the vibration of the router.

i could really do it up tight without stilsons and a firm grip on its snout with multigrips. if i did it that way the bush would surely distort
any ideas on keeping it on tight? apart from sticking it down with silicon?

    Default Router Guide Bushes

I don't know the answer to your question but am interested in which universal mounting plate you are using. I purchased a Trend universal mounting plate and have used Trend guide bushes which attach to the plate with two countersunk head screws.

Ray just use a tiny bit of the white plummmers tape. I must admit I use those guides as well and I think they are awesome , no problems with loose guides if you use the tape
You can never have enough planes, that is why Mr Stanley invented the 1/2s
