Which model router do you have?

Makita's main range of template guides attach via the rim on the router base and two screws that hold the template guide plate in place.
Sizes include 1/2 inch and 7/16

If you are talking about the template guides that are two piece with one pushed through a 1+3/16 hole (industry standard) and then a "nut" screwed on the other side Makita only make a 1 inch diameter version.

Makita do make an adapter that accepts these industry standard screw in template guides.

I know carbatec sell a brass set of screw in template guides Cat RM-9 that include a 1/2 and 7/16

The other alternative is to buy a perspex universal router base plate Cat BPA1 which has the correct cutout for the standard screw type template guides.

Woodpecker make a Router base to suit your Router which will accept the (USA) brass template guides. Try Professional Woodwork Supplies, as I believe they are the Australian Woodpecker Distributor.t

I managed to view a copy of the Maketa catalogue which included a full range of their parts and assesories.
For the Router in question model no 3601B ( with the side handle and screw in provision in the base plate) they have available template guides sizes outer diam 9.5, 11,12.7, 16 and 25.4mm. The price is about $45.00 each.
I ordered the part from Carbatec which they where able to supply in a matter of 4 days (ex Maketa eastern states stock).
