Thread: Ryobi ART3 Router Table (new router) help

Hey there,

You know the result when partner says to you "When are you going to finish those bookshelves?", and you answer "When I get a router table!". She buys you one. A Ryobi ART3. I've read this forum, so I know it has some issues, and that's okay, I'm a beginner.

My problems began when I opened the box to discover no manual. No manual on the internet. In fact, no information at all that I can find about this table except for prices. I put it together, it wasn't rocket science, and now I'm stumped. I would seem my inherited and "first car" Otzio router does not fit the table. Probably a good thing I hear you say.

My simple question is this: I wish to buy a new router that will fit this table (I'm doing hobby work - hardwood and 12mm MDF tops). How would one find out which routers do fit this table?

Many thanks for any help offered, as it has been sitting in my shed for some months, and I would like to at least appear to be using it.
