    Default twin router table

gday recently bought a gifkins jig 2nd hand from a forum member and was using on my triton routertable was getting tired of changing bits over so got a piece of 32mm thick mdf 450 x1200 routed out holes for mounting two routers made up mounting plates from 10mm Teflon board and two pieces of kdhw that fit neatly into top of triton router stand then i chopped up two old cheap
clamps welded them to piece of RHS screwed that to table and hey presto instant lifter works a treat very easy to wind up and down

Well I like it.......I have a few router tables of similar fashion, including two double units like yours. Like you, I hate changing bits, and it makes everything so easy for box making.
My choices of permanent bits are:
    Roundover bit
    Chamfer Bit
    !2 mm spiral bit
    3mm spiral bit
    Roman ogee bit.

    Like the DIY lifters too.

    Good idea!

    Now the question....

Does the vibration cause the clamps to let go or have you put a pin through the joint of the vertical bar and the moveable arm?
