    Default carbatec 2HP FM-300 Dust Extractor

    I have been given a dust extractor and the capacitor needs to be replaced, the details of the capacitor are no longer on the old one as it has burst and weeped. I was wondering if anyone could give me details of the capacitor if they have access to one

    They are a generic tefc motor aren't they? There should be two caps, start and run. Start caps on a 1.5kw motors are 189-227MFD, run caps 20MFD if memory serves.
