How do you manage to have time to stop for lunch????? I am trying to get the renovating done as quickly as possible so I can get to the shed again. Paint runs mean nothing

Beautiful bowls. The colour looks great. Needs a second hand vacuum cleaner?

Just finished the Gold Coast Show here, demo'd hoop earrings and pendants, make a trinket box, then heaps and heaps of spinning tops for the kids. They were mainly the younger ones, so no yo-yos, but still nice yummy-mummy's

Anyway, I entered my bowls into the comp knowing they probably wouldn't win, but i was surprised by the comments - "hate it, not even real turning" - oh well you get that, obviously doesn't like resin, nor any idea of how to do one

Its hard to please the traditionalists who think a bowl turned from wood alone is the only nice looking object. It becomes mundane I would have thought, so resin with wood in it lends itself to better colours and appearance. Still, it obviously wasn't all a waste for you with heaps of tops and a lot of perving.
