    Default Tricky Casting

    Hi all
    Been a bit sick and out of the shed. A friend needed help with a wedding present made out of oyster shells. This is a design using oyster shell CA glued on edge to the barrel and inlay with malachite pebbles. This is was my first attempt with inlay pebbles. I learnt a lot along the way .. Something different.

    What is it ?

    - Oyster shell cut and glued on edge
    - Malacite pebbles ground and inlayed
    - sanded and machined
    - Cast and machined and polished
